Our Cultures Feelings

In our culture there are two main things that happen in life that most people are afraid to talk about. These three two things are love and death. Most people are scared to talk about death because they are afraid to die because they are not ready for it and they want to live forever. I believe that death is a taboo topic but it shouldn't be because people should talk about it so they can figure out what they are going to do to get ready for it.
Another scary subject to some people is love. I think that most people are afraid of love because they don't want to get themselves into something they wont like forever and wont want to stay with. I also believe that maybe some people do not want to fall in love with someone incase they were to leave them or they do not want to risk them leaving and not being able to love them anymore and be heart broken. I think the difference between romantic and real love is that real love is unconditional, which means you do not have to teach your self to love them it just comes naturally and it sticks and romantic love according to the dictionary is the emotional pleasurable feeling from an emotional attraction towards another person associated with love.
Last thing I am going to talk about is work. As in the movie Mitch values work very much so much that it nearly wrecks his relationship with his girlfriend. He valued it so much that it made him forget all about Morrie and being able to visit him. Once it got down to time where Morrrie was very sick than Mitch got off work to go see him. I believe that after that Mitch learned that work was not as important to him as his friends and family.
