Birth Order

Does birth order in a family change how the kids will turn out and how they will act? Well a study was done that tells that older children are more likely to turn out smarter and more successful, the middle children are just normal people, and the youngest children are the more rebellious ones who try to be the most different. Does this fit in my family? Well for our first born child this is true. She is out to college, working a good paying job, has a house of her own, and she did well in school and had good grades. For the middle children it does not pertain to all of the middle children. The middle children in my family are creative and they are highly attuned to the needs of others. The thing that doesn’t pertain to the middle children are they are not independent, they don’t really try to blend in with others, and they are not much for negotiating and being peacemakers. For the youngest children now they are laid back, creative, entertaining, and also they do not have very many expectations of themselves. For the youngest children though they are not very social. "You have to watch over them when the parents are gone", said Jonathan Cowan. These birth order characteristics compare to most of the kids but sometimes some characteristics do not go with the children’s birth order.
