Me

Heredity plays a huge role on who I am because it physically makes me who I am. Because of heredity I look different than a lot of people. If it were not for heredity everyone would look alike and everyone would be pretty much the same. Heredity gives me more than just my looks it gives me skills and unique characteristics. Some skills that I have gotten are trapping, hunting, fishing, and the love of cars from my dad. From my mom I got responsibility, my parental skills, and my cooking skills.

How birth order plays a role in my life is it makes me more of an easy going person. According to scientists research the middle children are peacemakers and they are independent, do not like to follow authority, and they are negotiable. I believe that I am a negotiable because I am willing to talk to anyone at any time and if there is something wrong I am there to help them through it. As many teenagers I do not like to follow the rules of authority because we like to be rebellious. I do not like to fight I like peace and quiet and I also am independent and like to make my own money and take care of myself.

My parent’s characteristics also play a role on me. When I was born my parents were both in their mid-twenties and had one child already they were very caring and were somewhat unorganized with their lives. They spent a lot of time with us and whenever they went somewhere we got to go along. So I picked up the trait of always wanting to be somewhere different. My parents both graduated high school and I am more than likely going to also. My parents are Lutheran and also am I and my parents occupations have changed over the years but my dad’s first occupation was working on Trail Chevrolet in Groton working on cars and I earned the trait of wanting to work on cars also.

My culture is the last thing that plays a role on how I am today. Our culture rubs off on all of us children from way beyond time. Like at Christmas time we always set up a Christmas tree with the family and that started a long time ago. Or at thanksgiving time we always get together with family members and we usually go to someone’s house and we all eat there. Also on our birthdays we invite friends and family over to celebrate and we always have a cake and presents. My friends are a big influence of my cultural environment because I am always around them and hanging out with them.

As you can see there are many different things that can play major roles on someone’s life. These for things have been influencing me through my whole life. I believe the one subject that plays the biggest role on me is my heredity. My heredity makes me more of who I am today than anything else. Heredity doesn’t make me who I am it also makes me look like what I look like.
